In this class, self-assessment could be described as grading your work to see how you are as a writer and see what you may be doing wrong. Peer-assessment could be described as grading a classmate's work and a classmate grading your work. By doing peer-assessment, you compare and contrast how you and your classmate write. You may pick up new ways of how to write or you may notice something that you do well. An example of this would be the exercises we did in OneNote. We had to do a self-assessment on our CHAT papers that we had to do for the multimedia project. We also had to do a peer-evaluation on someone else's CHAT paper. I received good, helpful feedback from my peer and I hope he did as well.
Like the image says, peer assessment helps you reflect on your own writing.
