At one point during the semester, we focused on our sources. We learned how to find quality information and how to evaluate our sources. A scholarly source was written by someone who is a professional in their field and is up to date. EBSCO is a database full of scholarly sources and can be used through the Milner Library website. A credible source is trustworthy and accurate. An example of a credible website would end in .gov or .edu. We also talked about proper MLA citation. Proper citation would include alphabetical order and any line after the first of each citation to be indented. In class, we participated in a sticky note exercise where we had to place sticky notes of characteristics of each of these 3 ideas.

This image describes some ways to decide whether or not a source is credible.
